In the Order of the Ministry of Health, the intended parents in the section of the contract on bearing a pregnancy are described as a man, a woman or a couple. An individual parent definitely falls under one, and in most cases, under both criteria. Accordingly, such programs do not contradict any of the existing laws. And the law regulates only the procedure for registering the birth of children. All other documents are normative acts. While births and registration occur in accordance with the Civil and Family Codes of the country of birth: for example, in EU countries, where the marital status of prospective parents does not matter. This can also be Canada, where the laws clearly allow surrogacy for a single parent. Thus, the transfer of an embryo into the uterine cavity of a surrogate mother remains a completely legal procedure in the territory where it is performed.
